More July Fun!

Last week some friends and I celebrated a few of my girlfriends Birthdays, it is becoming an annual late night party. We have a lot of fun getting together and celebrating but some of these girls are trouble :)

The next day we headed back to the cabin. Since the weather was so nice this past week we decided to stay at the cabin and not come home. Scott spent a few days commuting which isn't fun but worth it to get there at night and get to do fun things with the kids like night fishing. We had some friends up this past weekend too and had a lot of fun. The kids are enjoying their time up there and have met new friends as well. I had to talk them into coming home for a few days to check on the house. I'm glad we still have almost 1/2 the summer left. Here are a few pics from the week.

Vegas Baby!!!

Scott and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on the 15th of July. We had a trip planned to Vegas with friends to celebrate our anniversary and a few Birthdays while we were there. He also surprised me with a special 10 year anniversary wedding ring. I was so shocked but I love it!!!! I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and family!! Here are some pics from our very fun kidless trip to Las Vegas this year.

July Fun!

Oh, so much has been going on and I am really behind in updating. July has been such a busy month. We have been spending so much time enjoying the cabin with all of the nice weather on the weekends and catching up with friends during the week. Here are some pics from the 2nd week in July.

4th of July weekend

Such a fun 4th of July weekend this year! We went up later on Friday for the long weekend of fun, food and fireworks. This year was definetly eventful to say the least. Mom and Aunt Jean came up for Saturday and mom spent the night. On Saturday we watched the fireworks show at the park. It was insanely busy this year, hundreds of people at the park to watch the show. We had trucks roll over in ditches, girls throwing up, dogs and fireworks in the park. The show was great as usual. Sunday night we lit off our own fireworks and cheered for Scooter girl. This girl kept doing laps all night on her scooter so we made our own little Mason 500 cheer squad. By the end of the night you could hear all the neigborhood cheering for her. The boys were overly excited about it this year and have turned into Scott's little piro's. This may turn into one of their favorite holidays.

Wild Waves

We made our first trip to Wild Waves and the kids had a blast. The kids loved the water and we couldn't keep them out. My neice talked my Aunt into going on the falls one and she got soaked, exhibit A in the pictures. My neice, mom and I got a few good chuckles over it. I'm sure we'll be spending lot's of time during the week there this year.
