Hawaii 2011

This trip was so much fun, again, that we all didn't want to come home. Hawaii really is the ultimate family trip for us. This year the kids even chose it over going to Disneyland and I think they'd do it again next year if we asked. This year we also traveled with some friends so our kids had friends to play with everywhere we went, they had so much fun. We decided to stay on Oahu this year, near the beach and not get a car. What a great decision that was, everything is literally a walk away. We have been there quite a few times and didn't think at this age the kids would appreciate getting in a car and driving the island to see stuff, we might attempt that next time. We opted to play at the pool and beach all day since we had just been playing in the snow at home the week before. Here are a load of pics from our latest Earle adventure!

Great Wolf Lodge 2011

This year our trip to the Great Wolf Lodge we were able to share it with so many friends which made the trip even more special for the kids. There were 11 kids in all and they dominated the park, well not really but it kind of felt like it. This year Bry went on all the rides including the Howling Tornado, he only went on it once, but he did it...Finally! There is a picture of the both of us on it and the look of unease on his face as he goes down backwards is priceless. He insisted on starting in the place that was facing the drop-off so he wouldn't go down backwards and I kept telling him that the guy was going to spin us, but what does mom know :) and he ended up going down backwards. Bug stayed mostly in the kiddie area and the wave pool. They sure love the wave pool! The twins did their normal thing in the kiddie area as well and B did her normal fall asleep at dinner like all the past years, it was pretty cute. All in all, such a blast going with friends and the kids are already planning next years event.

Basketball 2011

Both boys are playing basketball this year and it is so fun to watch them. Bry is in his third year now and they play by the normal rules and keep score. He is having a blast playing and really improving in all his skills. He loves to have his family come watch him.

Bug is in his first year and already has a passion for the sport. He is great at shooting and can make basket after basket after basket. He scored 4 baskets in his first game. They both ask to go into the garage to practice dribbling or in the front yard to practice shooting. Dad has been playing fun games with them like Horse and Bump and I think he is enjoying it as much as them.

Here are some pics from this last weeks games. They aren't on the same team, they just happen to have the same color jersey this year.

We will miss you Sage!

We had to say Goodbye to a family member that was with us for over 13 years over the past week. It was such a hard thing for all of us to say Goodbye, but we know that she is so much happier where she is now and is so much more comfortable. We love you and miss you Sage!

January

This month there was so much going on. We had 3 Birthdays in our family, football games with friends, skating parties, dinners, Basketball, soccer, date nights, bath times, pajama day at school.....I'm hoping February slows down a bit for us. Here are some pics from our super busy fun month.

Twins turn 4!!!

It's so hard to believe that it has been 4 years already since the twins were born. I keep catching myself calling these two babies and they get so upset with me. "Mom, I'm not a baby...I'm a big kid. It makes me so sad and happy at the same time to see them grow. They had so much fun at their party with all their friends and family. They love going to the Super Jump, especially when the party is all about them. Happy Birthday O and B!!!

Christmas and New Years

Well, I figured better late than never and I know there are a few of you out there that like to stay updated and see the pictures that I have taken. Christmas and New Years were a whirlwind this year and so much fun. We got to celebrate Christmas with both sides of the family this year and had such a great time. The kids hit the jackpot as usual and our house was was filled with new toys, clothes and games to excite them. We had so much fun over Christmas break doing Christmas projects and going on adventures.

New Year's is always a special time for my family to get together to remember my Dad and spend the evening together. This year was the 4 year mark and we miss him this year as much as the first year. Miss you and Love you Dad!!!

Snow Fun!!!

What a fun Thanksgiving gift we had last week. Almost an entire week off of school and so much fun snow to play in. Here are some fun photos from our neighborhood streets and Triangle Park.

Fall Time

Well I am finding myself with less and less time and juggling a whole lot more. It's been awhile since I have posted so I am going to get caught up in one swoop. I've decided to upload a bunch of the Fall photos. So much happened in the month of October and November. We had some fun weekends at the cabin, a few nights out without the kids, a concert, a trike-a-thon, Halloween functions at school, trips to the pumpkin patch, birthday parties, Trick-or-Treating, snow days and of course Thanksgiving. Wow!!! We have so much to be thankful for....our family, our friends, Scott's job, our health and so much more. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

Do the Puyallup!

One of our favorite things to do to officially send off summer is the Puyallup Fair. This has been a tradition for Scott and I since we were very little and I can't remember a year that I haven't gone. The kids love it just as much and ask all summer long when the Puyallup Fair is going to be here. We went this past Monday evening and had so much fun again. The kids love all that there is to do there. The boys had a lot of fun on the trampolines and the twins enjoyed their pony rides. O was so funny giving high fives everytime he went around. Wish we could go again!

Meet the Teacher

The twins got to meet their new teacher this last week. Bug had her in the 4's class but this is the first time the twins will get to have her in class. They are very excited and she is a wonderful teacher. They have a couple more weeks before they get to start but they can hardly wait. Afterwards we went to the park again with our friends for the 2nd annual lunch and playdate after meet the teacher. In a few weeks I'll have all four kids in school for at least a couple hours 2 days a week. What will I ever do with myself :)

DMB!!!

We were lucky enough to find babysitters and head over to the Gorge this last weekend to see the Dave Matthews Band. It has been six years since the last time we have seen him at the Gorge. We went with some friends and had a blast. The concert wasn't the best that I have seen from him but it is still amazing to be there with the view and the music. We stayed at Crescent Bar which was a great little place to vacation, we'll be heading back there for sure.

Twins and Friends

With the boys back to school it makes for a perfect time for the twins to get their own special playdate. We had some friends over for the day and they had so much fun being the big dogs of the yard. Here are some cute pics. One of my favorites is Ki taking a picture of the twins. So cute!

First Day of School!

Well the much anticipated first day of school arrived and the kids were so excited. Bug probably asked every day how many more days til school at least a week or more before. He is so excited to get to go all day everyday in 1st grade. His teacher is so wonderful and he loves her already. Bry also was very excited and also has a fantastic teacher. I tried to take a pic with him and his teacher but he wouldn't let me. He said that he knows all the kids in his class this year except for 2. I hope this year is a great year!

Last week of fun before schools starts

This week we tried to do a few activities to enjoy our last week before school starts. We spent one day at Wild Waves and a day at our friends before we headed up to the cabin for the weekend. It was nice to get some sunshine back for a few days before getting back to the grind.

Weekend Fun!

This last weekend was Milton Days up here and we decided to head to the lake a day late and participate in some community fun. Saturday morning the kids walked in the parade representing Mt. View Co-op. There weren't too many families who participated but the kids had so much fun holding the sign and blowing bubbles. After the parade we dunked Mr. Scott in the Watch Dogs tank a few times before eating some lunch and sliding down the hill on cardboard. Great idea whoever thought of that! After we headed up to the lake to hang out with some friends. Such fun times up there.

Weekend of Family Fun!!!

This weekend flew by. We had 2 aunts visit from Denver and just about the rest of the family in Seattle out at the lake this weekend. It was action packed and HOT!!! We had so much fun catching up with the family and playing in the sun all weekend. We couldn't have asked for any better weather or company. Thanks for visiting everyone can't wait to see you all again!!!

The Ocean

We were supposed to head to Cushman this week with our friends but an unfortunate sewer disaster at Cushman changed our plans so we decided to head to the ocean since the trailer was packed and ready to go. We had a few good days of weather and the kids had so much fun playing on the beach and flying kites. The kids met some new friends while camping so we shared a campfire on the beach with their family one night. That was really fun. Saturday the weather turned rainy so we decided to pack up and head home. This was the first time we have camped at the Ocean since Bug was a baby and we'll definetly go back.

More July Fun!

Last week some friends and I celebrated a few of my girlfriends Birthdays, it is becoming an annual late night party. We have a lot of fun getting together and celebrating but some of these girls are trouble :)

The next day we headed back to the cabin. Since the weather was so nice this past week we decided to stay at the cabin and not come home. Scott spent a few days commuting which isn't fun but worth it to get there at night and get to do fun things with the kids like night fishing. We had some friends up this past weekend too and had a lot of fun. The kids are enjoying their time up there and have met new friends as well. I had to talk them into coming home for a few days to check on the house. I'm glad we still have almost 1/2 the summer left. Here are a few pics from the week.
